The main subject for my documentary is 11-year-old Maisey, who is extremely confident so, as I thought, would have no problem in front of the camera. I don't want to manipulate Maisey's own character too much within the documentary, I want it to feel very natural and almost fly-on-the-wall.
Another smaller character is that of Maisey's friend Kele-Rose, This was an easy decision for me to make as the relationship between the two is very grown up for their age, and this is very much in tune with the message of my documentary.This is also to show that this effects many girls of that age.
