Highstreet Re-reshoot.

As well as the second filming session did go, once I had started to edit together the sequence I notice the camera was very shaky when filming the scene outside of the high street and had to return to the location to re-shoot. It came out much better the second time around and I was able to slot it into my documentary with ease.

Photoshoot for supporting tasks.

As personally I like to work in a way which gets one thing out of the way before I start another, I made sure all my filming was done before I started my supporting tasks. As all parts of the coursework had to link I decided I would use images from the same photoshoot in both my advert and my double page spread.

As I had completed my filming for the main task, I was used to working with Maisey and was able to get this done quickly.

In the process, I applied Maisey's make-up myself to save time, the make-up I chose to use was deliberately shocking as I also wanted to convey the same message through my supporting tasks as in my documentary. I then asked Maisey to stand or sit in various places in the room but again gave her pretty much free reign of how she posed as I still wanted this to feel quite natural. I also used one image of Maisey and her younger sister Lily, to show the contrast between the two ages and to remind the audience of Maisey's own youth and innocence.

Second filming session.

Unlike the first filming session, the second was much easier to control as I knew what to expect so could plan ahead. It was also made a lot easier by the fact it only included Maisey. During this session I filmed the scenes of Maisey shopping, this was where I wanted to show how Maisey has been influenced by celebrity culture, in the clothes she chooses to buy.

I also filmed a scene of just the high street, An idea which I got from Stop Pimping Our Kids. Here I intended to include scrolling statistics of how kids have been effected by the media.

First Filming Session.

My first filming session went very well, but not without its hiccups. It started out being extremely difficult to get everybody into the same place at the same time, as Maisey and Kele-Rose would much rather have spent their day in the park. However the prospect of being in a documentary was too good to pass up.

Finally getting them into the swing of things it because a lot easier to control the outcome. Out of the tons of material shot, I suspect a lot to cut out as there was a lot of giggles, as you would expect from two 11-year-old girls. However I also suspect a lot of this to be used as the bulk of my documentary.

Advert Sketches.

This was also taken from an advert I have analysed, which is that of the channel 4 "Bigger. Fatter, Gypsier." advert. It contains one main image of my subject and also includes vital information such as Date, Time and TV channel.
